Sekerci Sıtkı, one of the leading brands operating in the food industry in Antalya, selected DOGU HVAC’s advanced ventilation solutions for its manufacturing facility to achieve high indoor air quality, enhanced hygiene, and improved energy efficiency.

As part of this prestigious project, the Eurovent-certified DKS Air Handling Unit was selected and engineered to meet the facility’s central ventilation requirements. Featuring a plate heat recovery exchanger, integrated automation, and a modular construction, the unit was configured in line with the specific requirements of the project, including airflow capacity, fan and motor configuration, filtration, heating, and cooling functions.
Designed to address the requirements of central ventilation systems through an integrated approach, DKS Air Handling Units combine advanced filtration, free-cooling capability, and an integrated automation system. In food-processing applications, these features contribute to balanced air distribution and improved indoor air quality while supporting a more sustainable and energy-efficient operation.
Another product selected for the project, the IGK Heat Recovery Unit, supports both the facility’s fresh-air requirements and its overall energy efficiency. Through its plate heat exchanger, the unit transfers thermal energy from the extract air stream to the incoming outdoor air, allowing a significant proportion of the energy otherwise discharged with the exhaust air to be recovered.
By reducing the energy required for heating and cooling while simultaneously supporting the conditioning of incoming fresh air, the IGK Heat Recovery Unit provides substantial operational benefits. With the ability to recover up to 50% of the thermal energy contained in the extract air, the unit contributes to lower ventilation-related energy demand and improved overall system efficiency.

For the kitchen area of the Sekerci Sıtkı Factory, the KEF Kitchen Exhaust Fan was selected to provide effective extraction of smoke, steam, grease-laden air, and odours generated in commercial and industrial kitchen environments, thereby helping to maintain improved indoor air quality.
Thanks to its design, in which the electric motor is positioned outside the contaminated air stream, the KEF Kitchen Exhaust Fan is protected from direct exposure to high temperatures, humidity, and grease particles. This configuration supports reliable, long-lasting, and continuous operation even under demanding kitchen exhaust conditions.
