Prismatic Body Construction
The GSK Prismatic Silencer provides effective sound absorption with its prismatic body construction in broadband and low-frequency ranges. The product helps to decrease noise level without obstructing airflow, it provides high performance with minimum low pressure loss.
Silencer Casing is constructed from galvanized steel sheet. A stainless steel body option can also be provided upon request. The internal acoustic filling material consists of high bio-soluble mineral wool with an A1 fire resistance classification. The surface is covered with fiberglass fabric, and a perforated sheet metal protection layer can be applied according to project requirements. Galvanized steel sheet is preferred in standart production. Depending on project requirements, stainless steel surfaces, electrostatic powder coating in various RAL color options, or anodized coating alternatives can be provided. Standart production is being made unless there is no specific order from the clients.
Features:
- Suitable for installation in both horizontal and vertical air ducts.
- Installed to the duct system with a flanged connection. A 30 mm galvanized steel flange is used in the standart applications. In large-scale applications where the silencer is manufactured in multiple sections by dividing the width or height dimensions, a 35 x 35 x 3 mm angle iron flange is used.
