DOGU HVAC adds another significant hospital project to its references. The construction of Aydın City Hospital, located in Kuyulu District of Efeler, Aydın, began in November 2021. Spanning an area of 140,000 square meters, the hospital is designed to accommodate 1,400 beds. With 80% of the work already completed, the hospital is anticipated to be operational as Turkey’s 21st City Hospital by mid-2024, when it is expected to begin admitting patients.
Once operational, the hospital is projected to provide examination and treatment services to approximately 20,000 patients daily, with 4,000 healthcare professionals offering services to the public. Aydın City Hospital will feature 365 outpatient clinics, 250 intensive care beds, 34 operating rooms (12 of which are advanced), 60 palliative care beds, 45 hemodialysis units, and 54 chemotherapy beds. Additionally, the hospital will include facilities such as a hyperbaric treatment center, 95 adult medical shelters, 18 neonatal medical shelters, and 31 coronary intensive care unit beds.
