Fire & Smoke Dampers
One of the other important areas that DOGU HVAC focuses on is fire and smoke dampers. These products have been meticulously developed to reduce imports and increase exportability.
The fire dampers produced by DOGU HVAC have been tested according to the 1366-2 standard in the accredited laboratories of the French company Efectis. As a result of these tests, their resistance to fire has been proven for up to 120 minutes, and they have been certified with the EIS120 mark, which meets the highest safety standards. This guarantees the product’s high durability and reliability against fire. Additionally, the VGF Prismatic Fire and Smoke Damper in this product group has recently obtained the ATEX certificate for its non-insulated models, establishing a new standard for safety in explosive and easily flammable environments within businesses, thus addressing a gap in the industry. The product, tested according to the EN 1366-2:2015 standard, demonstrated a resistance of 132 minutes and meets the fire resistance class EI 120 (and, ho io) S according to the EN 13501-3:2005+A1:2009 standard, as well as the classification conditions II 2G Ex h IIC T5 Gb and II 2D Ex h IIIC T100℃ Db.
The smoke control dampers developed in this product group have also been tested according to the 1366-10 standard in the Efectis laboratories. These dampers successfully passed tests under conditions of 600 °C temperature and 500 Pa pressure for 90 minutes. These tests demonstrate that the dampers provide reliable performance under high temperature and pressure conditions.
