As DOGU IKLIMLENDIRME SAN. VE TIC. A.S., we attach the utmost importance to the lawful protection and processing of personal data in accordance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, and we act with this diligence in all our planning and activities.
We do not only evaluate the protection and processing of personal data, which is the basis of the right to privacy, in line with compliance with the legislation, but we also put the value we attach to people at the heart of our approach.
With this awareness, as DOGU IKLIMLENDIRME SAN. VE TIC. A.S., we take all administrative and technical measures to protect and process personal data. Efforts are being made to raise employee awareness to ensure compliance with the policy, necessary integration processes are implemented for new employees, and required arrangements are being made.

What are the purposes and legal grounds for processing personal data?
Our company processes, for both job applicants and employees, your personal data within the scope of your employment relationship with our company, including your identity information, contact details, family status data, educational, work, and professional life information, bank account information, all necessary information for creating your personnel file, surveys, reports, work, training, or interview data related to performance and career development, information regarding any benefits or entitlements provided to employees, as well as similar data such as camera recordings, entrance and exit logs for the facilities, security-related data for the company premises, usernames, passwords, website access logs, notifications, and any other data related to the security of the organization’s cyber environment, and any data that may pertain to audits and inspections, for the following purposes; in accordance with
- creating of personal files,
- fulfilling our legal obligations,
- providing information to authorized institutions arising from the legislation,
- defining personnel entry cards in order to monitor work attendance,
- for personnel evaluations (performance evaluations, promotions, disciplinary actions, dismissals),
- managing legal proceedings initiated against our Company,
- organizing business trips and making expense declarations,
- identifying professional competencies, realizing communication and using them in production-related activities,
- analyzing the reasons for leaving your job in case you leave your job,
- analyzing the reasons for overtime work,
- implementing practices related to occupational health and safety,
- protecting our legitimate interests, such as employee safety, protection of assets, prevention of loss and coordination of employees, supervision, debt collection and security,
- establishing and managing the information security infrastructure,
- ensuring communication in emergency situations.

- It is obliged to process, store and record your personal data in the data bank for statistical studies to be contacted when necessary in the audits carried out by the Ministry of Labor and SSI Inspectors, as well as to present it to the Local Law Enforcement Forces
- and the Organized Industrial Directorate for court and expert examinations, and to delete it when necessary.
In addition, data on health and criminal convictions and security measures are processed for the following purposes:

Method of collecting personal data
Your personal data is collected by our company through various means, including filling out job application forms, the CVs you have shared, job applications made via our website, forms completed as part of our procedures by our Human Resources department, employment documents provided during recruitment, forms filled out during training sessions, Minimum Living Allowance forms, fingerprint records for the Daily Personnel Attendance Control System (PDKS), shift forms, and any required informational forms received from you via the Human Resources forms.
Transfer of personal data
Our company acts in compliance with the regulations set forth in the Law on Protection of Personal Data regarding the transfer of personal data. Unless there are exceptional circumstances as specified in the legislation, personal data and sensitive data are not transferred by us to other individuals or legal entities without the explicit consent of the data subject. In cases where the Law on Protection of Personal Data and other applicable legislation provide exceptions, the utmost care is taken to ensure that the transfer of personal data to authorized administrative or judicial institutions or private organizations is carried out in accordance with the procedures and limitations prescribed by the legislation.
Your personal data may be transferred, in accordance with the procedures and principles specified in the relevant legislation and in compliance with the personal data transfer conditions and purposes set forth in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data:
- To authorized public institutions, organizations, and legally authorized private individuals for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations or establishing, exercising, or protecting the rights of the Company,
- To our suppliers and subcontractors responsible for shipments, in order to resolve customer complaints, fulfill customer requests, and maintain communication with customers,
- To our shareholders, suppliers, domestic and international business partners, group companies, affiliates, companies and institutions we collaborate with, and third-party service providers (in areas such as security, health, occupational safety, legal services, etc.) for the purpose of fulfilling contractual or legal obligations, and to authorized institutions and organizations.
How are personal data stored and protected?
- Your personal data will be stored confidentially in the databases and systems within our company in accordance with Article 12 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data and will not be shared with third parties under any circumstances, except for legal obligations and the provisions specified in this document.
- Our company is obligated, in accordance with Article 12 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data, to prevent the unlawful processing of your personal data, block unauthorized access, and implement software-based measures such as access management as well as physical security measures to ensure the protection of the systems and databases where your personal data is stored.
How long is the retention period for personal data?
- Your personal data will be retained by us at all times during your period of employment, and for a period of 10 years following your departure, in compliance with the durations defined in the applicable laws.
What are your rights under Article 11 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data?
In accordance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data, you have the right to apply to our Company and;
- a) to learn whether your personal data is being processed,
- b) to request information if it has been processed,
- c) to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is being used in accordance with its purpose,
- d) to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred domestically or abroad,
- e) to request correction if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
- f) to request anonymization or deletion of your personal data within the framework of the conditions set forth in Article 7 of Law on Protection of Personal Data,
- g) to request notification of the actions taken under (e) and (f) to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- h) to object to any unfavorable outcome arising solely from the analysis of your data by automated systems,
- i) to request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
Where do I apply for the status of my personal data?
For matters related to your Personal Data as defined in this policy;
- • You must submit the Law on Protection of Personal Data Application Form (signed and scanned) via the Registered Electronic Mail (KEP) address at [email protected], or
- Submit the Law on Protection of Personal Data Application Form in writing to the Human Resources Department.
How many days does it take to finalize my application for the status of my personal data?
Your request submitted via petition or email will be responded to within 30 days through the communication method you have specified.
