ACB Circular Variable Air Volume Device (VAV)

ACB Circular Variable Air Volume Device (VAV) is designed to adjust airflow with variable volumes (speeds) to enhance energy efficiency in ventilation and air conditioning systems in large buildings and facilities, regulating room temperature and air quality. It is compatible with round air ducts.

Description

Material and Usage Features:

ACB Circular Variable Air Volume Device (VAV) consists of four main parts: casing, VAV damper motor, flow sensors, and a sealed damper. The casing is made from galvanized steel sheet and can also be manufactured using AISI 304 stainless steel based on customer preferences. Flow sensors and the VAV damper motor are fixed onto the casing. The device is calibrated according to the values provided by the customer, with the damper blade moving through the shaft connected to the motor. The damper blade has a seal ensuring air tightness according to DIN EN 1751, preventing air leakage when the VAV motor reaches the Shut-off (completely closed) position.

Features:

  • High-precision calibration for flow rates between 70 – 5372 m³/h.
  • Suitable for variable air volume systems and duct pressure control applications.
  • Available in galvanized or stainless steel.
  • Sealed damper blade ensures air tightness according to DIN EN 1751.
  • EPDM seal ensures excellent air tightness at circular duct connections according to TSE EN 12237.
