At DOGU HVAC, we prioritize sustainability as an integral part of our corporate culture. As part of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4: Quality Education, we are committed to promoting equal lifelong learning opportunities for all. Through initiatives such as technical tours and similar events, we continue to support students on their educational journeys.
In line with our sustainability values, we welcomed students from Konak Çınarlı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School to our factory in Izmir ITOB Organized Industrial Zone (OSB). This project added another chapter to our ongoing technical tours, aiming to provide vocational education and introduce our facilities to young learners. On February 28, students from the Plumbing Technology and HVAC departments, specifically 10th and 11th graders, participated in this event, gaining valuable insights into the HVAC industry.
Accompanied by our R&D Chief Mr. Eralp Erim, the 32 students and their teachers explored the factory, learning about the industry, our processes, and products. Following Mr. Erim’s presentation, the students had the opportunity to observe technical processes used in production firsthand. Under the guidance of our Production Manager Mr. Ibrahim Calıskan and Production Engineers Mr. Berkay Aytac and Mr. Yücel Tosun, the students toured production lines, witnessing the manufacturing and assembly processes while also exploring the latest industry innovations.
After completing the technical tour, Mr. Mehmet Ali Bozkaya, a member of our after-sales support team and an alumnus of Çınarlı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, shared his professional experiences with the students. This was followed by our General Manager Mr. Seckin Tuncer Erdogmus, who discussed career opportunities in the HVAC industry and how to capitalize on them.
During the event, Ms. Gökce Temelkuran from our Human Resources Department addressed students’ questions about career planning, while Ms. Buse Ozkan from our Corporate Communications Department answered their inquiries about the company.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our General Manager Mr. Erdoğmuş, all contributing team members, the students and teachers from Konak Cınarlı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, and Mr. Fevzi Alkan, for their participation and efforts in making this technical tour a valuable learning experience.
