DOGU HVAC Launches a New Era with ATEX Certification for VGF Prismatic Fire and Smoke Dampers.

The VGF Prismatic Fire and Smoke Damper, designed to isolate flames, smoke, and heat from the fire zone in ventilation systems, has marked a significant milestone in the HVAC industry with its recently acquired ATEX certification. This certification confirms that DOGU HVAC VGF model dampers meet the safety standards required for use in explosive and highly flammable environments. The VGF dampers were rigorously tested and certified by EPI Energy Petroleum Institute and Applus+ Laboratories, ensuring their reliability and quality.

Specifically engineered for ventilation systems, the VGF Prismatic Fire and Smoke Damper ensures fire isolation between zones, preventing the spread of flames, smoke, and heat. Tested in compliance with EN 1366-2:2015, the damper demonstrated a remarkable resistance time of 132 minutes, achieving an EI 120 (ve, ho io) S fire resistance rating per EN 13501-3:2005+A1:2009 standards. Notable for its low-pressure loss and reduced noise levels, the damper features a fusible mechanism and an easy installation structure. With the newly attained ATEX certification, the VGF dampers are now suitable for explosive and highly flammable environments, meeting classification standards of II 2G Ex h IIC T5 Gb, H 2D Ex h IIIC T100 Db.

Through the ATEX certification for its VGF Prismatic Fire and Smoke Damper models, DOGU HVAC sets a new standard for ensuring safety in explosive and flammable environments. This development not only underscores the company’s adherence to international standards but also enhances fire safety measures for industrial facilities.

Furthermore, DOGU HVAC meets customer demands by offering customized air handling units (AHU models) with explosion-proof designs tailored for specific ventilation requirements in hazardous environments. The company ensures compliance with ATEX certification by completing all necessary testing protocols, providing clients with reliable and safe solutions for their HVAC needs.
