DOGU HVAC has added another major project to its hospital references with the Ali Osman Sönmez State Hospital. Located in Acemler, a key junction in Osmangazi, one of Bursa’s most prominent districts, the hospital is being constructed on a 100,000-acre site with a 265,000 m² enclosed area. Positioned at the heart of the city, this facility, with its high patient capacity, is set to become Bursa’s second city hospital, catering to the region’s growing healthcare needs and serving neighboring provinces.
The hospital is designed with a 1,315-bed capacity and is expected to meet a significant portion of Bursa’s healthcare requirements. As a general hospital, it will house departments such as oncology, obstetrics, pediatrics, and all other sections currently found in Çekirge State Hospital. Fully equipped, the facility will include 224 outpatient clinics, 188 adult intensive care beds, 43 neonatal intensive care beds, and 32 operating rooms, providing comprehensive services to the public.
