After 83 years, the Izmir International Fair is relocating. The new fair complex, to be established by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in Gaziemir, will span a total area of 337,000 m² and feature a construction area of 240,000 m². The complex will include a 93,000 m² indoor parking area, a 12,000 m² fair street, an 865 m² seminar hall, as well as cafeterias, restaurants, and administrative buildings on an 11,300 m² area.
Adding value to every project it is part of, DOGU HVAC has demonstrated its strength with a project capable of meeting all the requirements of large-scale specialty fairs. For this international-standard facility, equipped with exhibition halls, seminar rooms, ample parking, and social spaces, DOGU HVAC has provided air handling units, cellular exhaust fans, and ventilation equipment.
During the production phase, CFD analyses were prepared for the ventilation equipment. These simulations determined the conditions under which the conditioned air blown from diffusers would reach the comfort zone during summer and winter. Production was carried out in line with the data obtained from these simulations.
