GENERAL INFORMATION

Law on Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 (“Law on PPD”) grants personal data owners (hereinafter referred to as “Applicant”), who are defined as data subjects, the right to make certain requests regarding the processing of their personal data in Article 11 of the Law on PPD.

Pursuant to the first paragraph of Article 13 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data, applications regarding these rights must be submitted to our institution, as the data controller, in writing or through other methods determined by the Board for the Protection of Personal Data (“Board”).

Within this framework, applications to be submitted to our institution in “written” form can be delivered to us by;

  • The Applicant submitting the application in person,
  • Through a notary office,
  • By signing the application with a “secure electronic signature” as defined in the Electronic Signature Law No. 5070 and sending it to the Company’s registered electronic mail (KEP) address.

Below, information on how written applications will be delivered to us is provided specific to the written application channels.

“Information Request on the Law on the Protection of Personal Data” will be written in the subject

section of the e-mail.

In addition, once other methods to be determined by the Board are announced, our organization will announce how applications will be received through these methods. In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 13 of the Law on PPD, your applications submitted to us will be responded within thirty days from the date of receipt of your request, depending on the nature of the request. Our responses will be delivered to you in writing or electronically in accordance with Article 13 of the relevant Law on PPD.

In order to eliminate the legal risks that may arise from illegal and unfair data sharing and especially to ensure the security of your personal data, our Institution reserves the right to request additional documents and information (copy of identity card or driver’s license, etc.) for identification and authorization. In the event that the information regarding your requests you submit within the scope of the form is not correct and up- to-date or an unauthorized application is made, our institution does not accept any liability for the requests arising from such incorrect information or unauthorized application.
